The final inventory is very different, there were a lot of different types of technology. There were different kinds of websites and different kinds of electronics. Everyones contributions made our list of technologies very detailed. I was unaware of some of the technologies that were listed, it got me intrigued and made me want to research exactly what they were.
Technology such as the Zimbio and Digg websites will be beneficial to the READ 411 class because it gets students to put their work online and create their own professional website. This website can also be a place where they post their artist statement. This inventory of technology will also link the two classes together because students must understand and comprehend each technology.

ReplyDeleteI was also very surprised and unaware of all the technological tools out there for our content area. Im happy to have this spreadsheet to use in future lesson plans. Seeing all of the technologies on one sheet really helps us to see which technology will or will not work for a specific lesson. Zimbio and Digg is a technology i was unaware of before working on this assignment. I think website like these are a great way for students to show their artwork off, and it could also be used as an assessment tool at the end of the semester.
