Art and Technology Integration at Mercy High School
This video I have found talks about a certain school in Michigan that has intergraded technology in their art program. They have required that each student have a laptop as well as a program that will assist in helping the students bring technology to the school. Teachers record their lessons and put it up on their class website so if someone is confused about the homework they can look at the lesson or if someone was absent. They also have students submit projects through this program and give them paperless feedback that is all found through this program. The last aspect that I found most interesting is that students are taught how to make an online portfolio which is very helpful for the students as well as the teachers.

Using Technology in an Elementary Art Classroom
this article talks about how students now are brought up with technology and they are very interested in them. Because these students are so interested in them they will promote better class participation, teach new skills, and tie together the outside world with art. The first way to do this is creating an online gallery with artsonia.com. Students can display there work on this online gallery which will be easy for the teacher to access as well as the students. Another way is to have students digitally photograph there work that way they get to understand how to use a digital camera as well as how to upload photographs onto a computer. Every artist creates an artist statement. Having students create an artists statement will make them feel as if they are a famous artist, also having them type this statement will have students intergrade technology into this aspect. Students can also research different types of art and techniques as well as visiting online galleries. Most artist have their art work online which will help students for this part. They may also create artwork about technology by making ads for everyday gadgets.

Effects of Technology on Classrooms and Students
This article states that adding technology into the classroom changes both of the roles for the students as well as the teacher. Students are now the active role in grasping the concept of the lesson because they are looking up the information themselves. The teachers role's are now changing because they are overseeing what the students are learning through the resources. I only partially agree with this statement because although the students are learning the information themselves the teacher must make sure that these students are comprehending the information correctly. This could be done with an assessment or a review. The article also states using technology can help students collaborate.

Technology in the Art Classroom
This article that was posted on a teacher blog asked teachers what kind of technology would you buy to make yourself a better teacher. Most teachers asked for digital cameras, art software, printers, projectors, and digital cameras. One teacher asked for an "elmo" which is a video camera on a pole that could be used to record demos. I believe that this is a wonderful type of technology that I was unaware about. This could be beneficial for students who did not understand the lesson or for students who were absent during the lesson. It is interesting that most teachers ask for the same types of technology in all of there classrooms.

Creating Andy Warhol work
This website shows that you could create a replica of a famous persons art work using a computer. Andy Warhol used screen printing to create the work and this website is using paint.NET. This website is also very helpful because it is an example of what a podcast would be like that if you used it in your classroom. You could record your lesson with multiple steps and then have it playing in the classroom. This video goes into complete detail just like I would do if i were doing a lesson for my students.
